Some diseases diagnosed and treated in psychiatric hospitals are:

DEPRESSION
Depression is a very common mental condition of feelings, actions, and emotions disturbances. Depression patients experience recurrent sad and depressed mood, lack of interest in things previously enjoyed, disturbance of sleep habits, loss of appetite.

Bipolar disorders
Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depressive syndrome or bipolar mood disorder, induces extreme mood swings and has a detrimental effect on a person's life. In the manic phase, the patient becomes exuberant and in the period called depressive, depressed. Drug treatment should be applied to ensure that the disease disappears entirely or shortens the length of the disease.

Obsessive compulsive disorder
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) happens when the patient focuses on troubling thoughts called obsessions and as a result, adopts continuous habits called compulsions in order to get rid of pain. Obsessive-compulsive disorder may occur as a consequence of the repetitive activation of certain parts of the brain or a bad experience that may cause trauma in an individual's past life.

Disorders of Anxiety
Anxiety disorders are also known as anxiety disorders. Anxiety, that is, anxiety, is a natural emotion that arises in circumstances that involve an exceptional one or more.

Sexual problems
Sexual conditions including female vaginism, male erection issues, premature ejaculation may be caused by psychiatric problems. If after gynecologic and urological tests no pathological signs are identified, psychiatric treatment may be appropriate in individuals who have such issues in health care institutions.

Schizophrenia
it is a psychiatric disorder which prevents the person from distinguishing between real and unreal events, which makes it difficult for the brain to think normally, and thus prevents the individual from maintaining control of their behaviors and emotions. Treatment in the early stages of the disease is very necessary to begin. Together, antifungal and psychotherapy medications are used to prevent progression of the disease.

Reactions of complaints
The destruction and sorrow in irreversible events which have a profound effect on life, such as the death of the beloved, separation and divorce, is a natural reaction for every human. In a couple of weeks this disorder is expected to decline and causes intense tristesse, discontent, discomfort, rage and aggression even 3-6 months after the profoundly sad event that is described as pathological complaint and needs mental therapy.

Disorders in sleep
Disturbed sleep not only induces exhaustion and insomnia, but also raises the risk of many health conditions. Sleep disorders such as sleeping trouble waking exhausted in spite of proper sleep, waking up constant in the night, night sleep problems and delirium in patients without physiological problems are all situations which require psychiatric care.
